8. Jacob Henry Williams (14) (15) Photo was born on 17 Mar 1872 in Georgia.(16) (17) John's father & mother were both born in Georgia according to this census. He died on 5 Sep 1900 in Rome, Floyd, Georgia, USA. (18) Obituary states:

Henry, a married son of John Williams was living on Mrs. Rebecca Higgins' place near Rock Spring. Wednesday of last week he was digging a well there. About 11 a. m. finding that the gas was getting troublesome he started to come out. While they were drawing him out and when he was about 80 feet from the bottom he was overcome and fell to the bottom. His head struck between two rocks and he was instantly killed. A wife and three children are left to mourn his untimely death. He was 26 years of age. He has reference number 8. J. HENRY WILLIAMS IS BURIED AT Peavine Cemetery behind the Peavine Baptist Church about 3 miles east of Rock Spring on Peavine Rd.(GA). It is part of a tract of 13 acres Austin Buffington sold to commissioners for the Baptist and Presbyterian churches distinguished by the name of Union Peavine Church. Peavine Bapt Church owns the property now, and several acres have been added to the original tract. the cemetery has been used by the church and Peavine Community. Surveyed in 1986. He was married to Marinda Elizabeth Victoria MCGILL on 9 Oct 1894 in Walker County, Georgia. (19)

9. Marinda Elizabeth Victoria MCGILL(20) (21) Photo was born on 25 Jan 1875 in Rock Springs, Georgia, USA. She died on 16 Mar 1950 in FORT WORTH, Tarrant, TX, USA. She was buried after 16 Mar 1950 in Valley Mills, Bosque and McLennan Counties, TX. Sammy Williams, Jimmy Williams, & Shirley Williams made a trip to Valley Mills in October 1995 and located the cemetery and headstone. She has reference number 9. Marinda may have gone by the name Victoria.

During WW2 she worked at Waco in a clothing mill.

She is buried at Valley Mills, Tx. The cemetery is two blocks west of the corner of Hwy 6 and 1st street. Enter in the center gate, go about 15 yards, stop and walk about 15ft west. The headstone faces west with William P. Collins and Victoria M. Collins named. Currently (October 95) there is a football field next to the cemetery.

Sammy, Jimmy and Shirley Williams visited Valley Mills cemetery in Oct. 1995. The above dates showed on the headstone. April 1996, we obtained a death certificate. This did not show the father's first name-?McGill. Her usual residence was 2804 S. Pecan Ft. Worth, Tx and she died in 8th Ave Convelsant Hospital. Shows mother's maiden name unknown-informant Jessie Collins.

She had a second husband :William P. Collins The headstone shows P. and the death certificte shows Born 9-24-1860 William Phelix Collins. This also showed that he lived in Techuacana precinct #14 7 years 7 months and 6 days before his death on 22 Dec 1941. This form is in the posession of Shirley Williams and also states that he was born in Georgia and was a retired farmer. Children were:
