He was buried in Tahoka, Lynn, TX. Floyd Family History - When Robert was 17 the family moved to Texas. No record of where. Later they moved to Commanche Co. TX in 1890-91. Henson Floyd died in 1891 and was buried in Commanche, TX. Robert later moved to near May, Brown, TX. He was married to Amanda Jane Windham on 5 Feb 1899 in Bride's home, Brown, TX.^{(36) (12)(37)}

13. Amanda Jane Windham ⁽⁵⁾ was born on 6 Apr 1879 in Brown county, TX, USA.^{(38) (39)} She died on 1 Mar 1952 in Tahoka, Lynn, TX, USA.⁽⁴⁰⁾ She has reference number 13. She was buried in Tahoka, Lynn, TX. Died of a heart ailment in Bronnenberg Clinic at 2:50 A.M. Saturday. She had been stricken less than two days before. Funeral services were held Sunday at 2:30p.m. in the First Baptist Church, with Rev. Lee Ramsour, the pastor, Elder V. J. Lowrance, Primitive Baptist Church minister, and Rev. Jim Sharp, Methodist pastor, officiating. Burial followed in Tahoka Cemetery under direction of Stanley-Jones Funeral Home. Mrs. Floyd had been bothered with the heart ailment for some time, but until her last illness she remained happy and cheerful and enjoyed living. Only a few days before she had attended the funeral of a relative in Brown county and visited old friends there. She had long been a member of the Primitive Baptist Church, and was regarded as a mother, housewife, and citizen of the very highest type. She was born Amanda Jane Windham on April 6, 1880 (I have 1879), the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. R. Windham, in Brown county. Her parents and grandparents were real pioneers of Brown county, who fought the Indians to make a new home in the West. Children were:

ii. Aubrey Ausborn Floyd⁽³⁾ was born on 18 Mar 1904 in May, Brown Co, TX, USA.⁽¹²⁾ He died on 7 Feb 1961 in Moab, Utah. Floyd Family History - Aubrey played polo for a living until injuries forced his retirement. He then moved to Moab Utah to mine uranium. iii. Ina Floyd was born on 14 Nov 1906. She died on 22 Nov 1997 in Tahoka, Lynn, TX.
iv. Leo Floyd was born on 2 Jan 1908. He died on 6 Mar 1932 in Waggoner Ranch, Vernon, TX. Floyd Family History - Leo was working for the Waggoner Ranch near Vernon, TX. A horse fell on him and injured him internally. He died a few hours later in a Vernon hospital and was buried in the Tahoka cemetery.
v. Robert Floyd was born on 5 Jul 1913. Date from birth certificate in possesion of Barbara Floyd (Chrisitie) - corrected May 20, 2002. He died on 22 Jun 1988 in CA.
vi. Maxine Ferbie Floyd⁽⁴¹⁾ was born on 5 Jun 1920. She died on 25 Jan 1972 in Houston, Harris, TX, USA.
